Chrani apparently also means something in Slovakia. If you search google blogs you get thousands of results pointing to sites that discuss "chráni" such as this. (Deti chráni policajt z molitanu 20. októbra 2008 9:28 Netradičné značky majú najmä najmenších chodcov chrániť pred nebezpečnými vodičmi na oravských cestách.)
